Jørgen Øverbye is a nature lover. The nature brings him energy and often when he is outdoors he brings his whittle knife with him. His passion for whittling probably started with the Sami knife he got as a child. As soon as he was old enough to use it, the knife was with him at all times. His big brother taught him how, and together they made whistles, sticks, rifles and other things they could play with.

As Jørgen grew up to be a father, he started whittling again. He made tools and small figures. Some of them he could sell.  Thisstunning little fellow with the big heart was a gift he made for one of his children
