THE QUIET WINTER
Snow, frozen water in the form of ice crystals. Shaped in heaven, falling to the ground, when temperatures are below zero. Collaborative crystals bind together to form snowflakes. Usually shaped as stars with six branches but in more polar areas with low humidity they also occur as ice pins. The crystals are individually transparent it is the large number of reflective surfaces of the crystals that makes the white appearance. Covering the ground as a white blanket, protecting the earth against the cold.
